GBMS alumni students Nicholas and Juliana Kilmurray brought
three jars of coins from the GBMS Pennies for Peace fundraiser into the Rocky Mountain Bank to be sorted on
Friday, May 25. Former teacher Stephanie Edwards, now at Rocky Mountain Bank, helped them discover that GBMS had donated
a total of $125 to the Central Asia Institute.
"We were excited to see how much money the children brought
in with their parents," said Juliana, an eighth-grader at Chief Joseph Middle School.
"It's great
that even little kids care about whether other kids get a chance to go to school," added Nick a seventh-grader at CJMS.
Special thanks to all of our GBMS families and children who participated in this community service project! For more
